On Tuesday, Axis Bank said that the IFSC Banking Unit (IBU) at GIFT City, Gujarat, will now offer digital US dollar fixed deposits (FDs) to non-resident Indians (NRIs).
As per the announcement released by the bank, Axis Bank is now the pioneer bank in providing GIFT City Deposits with a digital journey.

Axis Bank's mobile banking application, 'Open by Axis Bank,' now allows NRI customers to open US dollar fixed deposits at GIFT City.
According to the statement, this product gives non-resident Indian (NRI) clients an end-to-end digital paperless solution, removing the need for physical documentation and streamlining the US-dollar fixed deposit booking procedure.
Customers can conveniently manage their FD digitally and enjoy flexible investment tenures from seven days to ten years.
